With the start of school and track I haven’t had time for much else over the past few weeks. Bear with me over the next few months as I won’t be posting that many blogs, but I will try to post as much as I can!
Last weekend I came across a documentary, The New Green Giants, that explores the complex world of the organic food industry. I highly recommend watching this documentary to find out more of what is happening in this industry. It touches upon various subjects including conventional strawberry farms in California, the effects of pesticides on IQ in children, and a conventional farmer who converted to organic farming purely for financial reasons, eventually realizing many other benefits of organic farming.
